While the World Ski and Snowboard Festival is in full swing on the mountain, anticipation is building among dirt lovers as the Whistler Mountain Bike Park's opening day is fast approaching on May 17.
As of today, mountain bikers can get one pedal stroke closer to riding, jumping, flowing or pumping down their favourite trail as Early Bird Triple Play Cards, Twilight Triple Play Passes and a limited number of specially priced Early Bird Season Passes go on sale.
"We are excited to offer a wide range of pass options this year to suit all types of riders," says Brian Finestone, Whistler Mountain Bike Park Manager. "Whether you're in the park every day or a first timer, we now have the perfect pass option for any rider of varying experience. The trails are currently covered in a layer of snow, but as of April 22 our dedicated trail crews will start to clear the snow and resurrect the park in time for opening day on May 17."
Early Bird Bike Park Season Pass are available for purchase between April 16 and May 16- there are a limited number of early bird season passes at $549 and the regular early bird season pass is $599.
This includes unlimited riding from May 17 to October 14 and includes one free Top of the World ticket. To find out more go to whistlerblackcomb.com/bike.
