Whistler Peak Properties joins ResortQuest fold

U.S based firm ResortQuest International has announced the buy-out of rental and property management company, Whistler Peak Properties, but says it has no plans to alter current staffing or management practices.

U.S based firm ResortQuest International has announced the buy-out of rental and property management company, Whistler Peak Properties, but says it has no plans to alter current staffing or management practices.

Patrick McCurdy, the president of ResortQuest’s existing local business, Whistler Chalets Limited, says it will be business as usual for the new addition.

"It’s the same team of people and the principals of Whistler Peak Properties, Sarah Booth and Lori Donaldson, will be retained as business consultants, and will work alongside the existing ResortQuest International management team."

McCurdy says the acquisition gives Whistler Peak Properties access to extensive Internet marketing and international advertising opportunities. "For example, ResortQuest is the only vacation rental manager featured under a new button for the 28 million subscribers of AOL."

He says the properties on both Whistler companies’ books are very compatible and together will give ResortQuest International a leading stake in the Whistler market.

ResortQuest International is based out of Memphis, Tennessese and manages more than 18,000 rental units throughout North America.
