Whistler Brewing Company and Fairmont Chateau Whistler are teaming up to offer a tasty, free event in Vancouver this weekend.
Chef Michael Pagnacco has developed two distinct tapas recipes inspired by Whistler Brewing’s award-winning Weissbier — spicy prawn taquitos with whipped avocado dipping sauce and beer braised BBQ pork ribs — and he’ll be giving a live cooking demonstration at the Signature B.C. Liquor Store on 39 th and Cambie on Saturday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
“The beer’s light citrus notes coupled with hints of banana and clove infuse the dishes with a symphony of flavours,” Pagnacco said in a recent press release. “This event is a wonderful opportunity to collaborate and share my expertise about food and beer pairings with the public.”
Attendees will have a chance to sample Pagnacco’s new creations served with an ice cold Whistler Weissbier.
