Whistler RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating high-risk sex offender Timothy Daniel Jones.
"He is wanted out of Vancouver," said Staff Sgt. Steve LeClair. "Call 911 if you see him."
Jones failed to return to his Vancouver halfway house on Tuesday, May 19.
The 48-year-old man has previous convictions for three sexual assaults against teenage and adult women.
“He is a two-time federal offender on statutory release, after receiving a one-year-eight-month sentence for breach of his long-term supervision order,” reads a statement by Vancouver Police.
Jones is described as Caucasian, 6 feet tall, 244 lbs., with brown hair, brown eyes and a tattoo of Pegasus on his right upper arm. When he was last seen, he was wearing a blue jean jacket, green t-shirt and blue jeans.
Call 911 immediately if you see him, and do not approach him.
