Early Bird Season Passes are now on sale at Whistler Blackcomb. Available August 28 through to October 8, 2012, an Unlimited Adult Season Pass is available for the Early Bird price of $1,489 -a savings over $300.
Additional perks for season pass holders, including unlimited summer sightseeing at Whistler Blackcomb come with the pass.
"Whistler Blackcomb is the consistently ranked No. 1 mountain resort in North America and we are incredibly lucky to have this amazing mountain playground in our backyard," said Stuart Rempel, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Whistler Blackcomb.
"To make the most of the incredible snow, terrain, alpine vistas, and all of the 'wondrous' elements of Whistler Blackcomb the season pass is the best option for avid skiers and riders."
An Early Bird Unlimited Senior's Season Pass is available for $799, a savings of $170. An Early Bird Unlimited Youth (13-18) Season Pass is $675, saving guests $64. Meanwhile, an Unlimited Child (7-12) Season Pass is priced at $415, saving $110 (plus applicable taxes). Children six and under ski/ride for free and families can receive a 10 per cent discount on their pass purchases.
The passes are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting whistlerblackcomb.com/early or calling 1-866-218-9687. Official Opening Day at Whistler Blackcomb is scheduled for November 22, 2012.
The Whistler Chamber of Commerce has also released its Spirit Pass details for the 2012-13 Winter Season with the adult Spirit Pass only $1,249.
The adult unlimited Spirit Pass is 16 per cent less than the Early Bird season pass and 30 per cent less than the regular season pass. Spirit Pass holders receive all the benefits of a Whistler Blackcomb season pass, including discounts on Whistler Blackcomb food and beverage, retail, snow school.
For the first time ever, participants in the Winter Spirit Program will automatically qualify for the exciting NEW Summer Spirit Program. During the summer of 2013, the Summer Spirit Program will provide participants with discounted access to a range of world-class activities throughout the Resort like golf, spa visits and adventure tours. Details, including which activity providers will be participating in the Program, will be released in Spring 2013

For skinny-ski users there is good news from Callaghan Country and Whistler Olympic Park (WOP).
There will be a single "Ski Callaghan" pass, which will allow access to both Callaghan trails and trails at WOP. This will give access to 87 kilometres of groomed trails and 33.5 kilometres of snowshoe trails.
An adult's early bird pass will be $250 with day passes set for $22. Passes go on sale Sept.15 and may be purchased on line at www.whistlerolympicpark.com or www.callaghancountry.com.
