With less than a month to go the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival is looking for volunteers to help out during the festival, between April 16 and April 25. The organizers are holding their annual recruitment night on Wednesday, March 24 at the GLC between 7 and 9 p.m.
There are dozens of options for volunteers, from on-mountain events like the Ripzone Snowboard Invitational and World Skiing Invitational to cultural events like the Pro Photographer Showdown and Pro Filmmaker Showdown.
Volunteers have the option of working different shifts at different locations, but are asked to contribute a minimum of 16 hours over the 10-day festival.
All volunteers will receive giveaways and the chance to win prizes at the annual volunteer wrap-up party.
If you cant attend the volunteer recruitment night you can apply online at www.whistler2004.com or call the Festival Volunteer Hotline at 604-935-5525.
