The Aperature Coffee on West Broadway is closed as of May 28, 2023.

West Broadway is losing another of its eateries.

After 10 years at 243 West Broadway, the local coffee company is closing the location. May 28 will be the last day.

"It has been a pleasure to be a fixture of the community for the past ten years," writes the company on Instagram. "We've loved serving as a space where culture could thrive - for people to relax, friends to catch up, students to study, and for new connections to be made."

Locals aren't too happy with the announcement.

"No, it took me so long to find the perfect coffee spot 💕 the vibes were immaculate. Sad to see it closed," writes on fan on Instagram.

"Thank you for being such a gem in a busy city!" comments another.

"You will definitely be missed. Thanks for your wonderful service over the years," writes another.

While it'll be the end of the brand's time at the West Broadway location, the company isn't shutting down. Their second shop at 4124 Main St. in Mount Pleasant will remain in business.

"Send your love for us there," writes Aperture.

They have one final note for those who popped into the West Broadway location.

"If you have a photo on our back wall from playing the dart board game, please come to collect it," they note.
