Norouz Fire Festival CG
Norouz fire festival event is held in West Vancouver a few years ago.

Dear Editor:

The Iranian-Canadian community, with great pleasure, extends the warmest greeting to everyone celebrating Norouz.

On this day we say "Thanks a million to Canada."

A Poem:

HAPPY NOROUZ "AIDE SHOMA MOBARAK"

Thank you, Canada, for making us feel at home.

Thank you, Canada, for not calling us second class residents.

Thank you, Canada, for not judging us by our opinions.

Thank you, Canada, for not judging us by our colour.

Thank you, Canada, for respecting our belief.

Thank you, Canada, for respecting our ethnicity

Thank you, Canada, for respecting all genders.

Thank you, Canada for  healing our wounds.

Thank you, Canada, for your humanity.

Thank you, Canada, for respecting human rights.

Thank you, Canada, for believing in justice.

Thank you, Canada, for believing in equality.

Thank you, Canada, to acknowledge Cyrus the Great

as the leader of human rights.

Thank you, Canada, for being a pioneer in assisting the innocent victims all over the world.

Thank you, Canada, for your friendship, kindness and love.

Canada, we know what “love” is very well.

We come from the country of love.

Canada, we come from the land of Saadi, Hafez, Khayyam

Rumi and Cyrus.

Thank you, Prime Minister Trudeau

Thank you, Canada, for proving to be our best choice

as our second home.
