Re: “Climate change and Trump's America

I also want to point out that you spell industrialization with an S. Do you happen to be an anti-Brexit ex-Brit globalist crypto Liberal/Green Party advocate perchance? Here in Canada, we spell it with a Z, mate. Or is it bloke?

Re: “Climate change and Trump's America

Totally vapid opinion, anchovie pizza. Tell your "transcendent" climate change politics to the workers who are going to be jobless in that sector and to the climate taxes and people trying to drive to work in the coming years, which only serve the crypto Liberal globalist agenda, which pollutes even MORE with tourism both foreign and domestic which we have seen first hand in the sea to sky and its ramifications. I drink bottled water and smoke medical marijuana every chance I get. You see that glowing orb of fire up in the sky above your head when it's not raining here in BC? That is the Sun. Do you think it might have anything to do with temperatures on the Earth, which historically go drastically up and down over time? Humanity went ALL in on industrialization. The crypto Liberal agenda is to promote what were previously left wing ideaologies like gay rights and climate action and runaway immigration to the selfie generation and new immigrants to Canada with globalism in order to create a class society where the rich will continue to pollute and the REAL middle class and poor will get even poorer. Wake up! You have been deceived by the mainstream media, anchovie pizza. It's time to put some Canadian bacon back on this little crust of the Earth we call Canada and take OUR country back from the Elite!

Re: “Climate change and Trump's America

Amusing how the most paranoid among us are also the least likely to enjoy cannabis. Climate change transcends politics, it is a reflection of the over-industrialisation of our planet and natural habitat. Go ahead and breathe that shitty air and drink polluted water. Yes Trump politicians and others blind of any knowledge that clean air and water are necessary for life can gut legislation and controls on industry, but we should not be celebrating their malfeasance. Get a life Ted.

Re: “Climate change and Trump's America

There is a term being used lately in the media called "fake" news. If you'd like to know what fake news REALLY is, ask this Gwynne Dyer character, because they make their living off writing it!

Re: “Climate change and Trump's America

The elite are using stooges in the media to promote their globalist agenda. Canada cannot afford the crypto Liberal agenda any longer. It is time to wake up the patriots and let Trudeau and his apologists hear us Roar!

Re: “Non-linear climate emergency

WARMER temperature = WETTER air = WILDER WEATHER. Seemed obvious to me when I became personally aware and subsequently informed of global warming while living in Barrow, Alaska at the end of the last century. Then or now, nothing in that formula implies, requires or has shown linearity

Did Dyer really just tell us "boys will be boys" and "don't worry, in a few years the rapes will stop?"

Re: “Turkey: Next stop civil war?

Don't worry buddy. Turkey's economy is booming. It's GDP almost doubled over the last couple of years. By going back to it's roots Turkey is just getting stronger. If somebody's border will change in that region, it will be Europe, not Turkey.

Ottoman Empire had many different races in them and all of them are still living in Turkey happily including the Kurds. There is only a very small percentage of Kurds are being used by Western Powers as pawn. Otherwise no one cares in Turkey if you are Kurd, Turk whatever.

Re: “Islamic State: more massacres

Without never reading the Quran which values go up to divinity, the battle or killing of Islamic state would not be able to be understood. As of worldly matter, the world should start thinking first that these fighters are blowing themselves up so easily as if this life is nothing, whereas the rich world like you are heavily busy with this same life, who drives what car or how much is that diamond. If you rich world wish to apply your latest killing technology killing people from the sky, randomly civilians though, then you should consider for your own safety that sky is your limit, do not touch the ground.

Re: “Islamic State: more massacres

I agree that the impact on the West in terms of Western human lives is negligible. But then, do we not have a moral obligation to intervene in support of those populations that are being seriously victimized by ISIS? In spite of Pearl Harbour, the Axis posed limited threats to the US and Canada. Should we have stayed out of WWII and just continued to supply Britain with support, as the US did from 1939 to Dec 1941? When do we rich and developed nations decide we need to take action to help others? How can we protest loudly against the Yulan Dog meat festival, yet do nothing about ISIS murdering human beings on a large scale. I think it is the fight of this generation, but not because it threatens us. Because if we do nothing, then we prove we are nothing, and our rich and developed selves will be of no use to anyone.

Re: “The Middle East: Iran is back

There is not, nor has there ever been, 'one' ...Country in the whole world, that is 'the right' & proper Country. That high minded presumptuousness, is what starts ALL 'SELFISH' wars. Simple.

Re: “With allies like these...

Mr. Dyer's claimed arithmetic skills are not as good as he thinks. 82,000 front line troops guarding the frontier 24/7/365 with all their support elements would require over a million troops dedicated to this one activity alone. Given his background in military related affairs he should be abundantly aware of this fact, but appears to want to ignore reality in order to make what is apparently a purely ideological argument not founded in the real world as he usually does in all his articles and writings.

Re: “The African Union and the ICC

if the ICC can not indict the American government for the biggest crime of the time (mass murder of Afgans, Iraqis, Pakistanis, etc, in the name of war on terror, it is indeed another tool put in place by the west to exercise their old colonial power.
Why was not France indicted for the genocide they committed in Algeria? Why was not Bush indicted for the war he wedged on Iraq and the killing of thousands of Iraqi children, women,....?
Every crime should be persecuted and if ICC does that , It will get my (our) respect

Re: “The African Union and the ICC

I believe; Entire African Union Must Leave Roman Stature or ICC membership. The entire foundation on which ICC is sitting; is completely fractured one. ICC is itself is subject to abuse of powerful and permanent UNSC memebers and lacks complete credibility.

That's the reason biggest countries like India, China didn't become ICC members. Whereas Israel, Sudan and the United States have informed the UN that they aren't interested in ICC membership
