Let's face it, once you're an adult Halloween is about one thing—partying in a ridiculous costume.

And in Whistler, there's no better way to wrap up your sober October than heading to one of the myriad parties taking place over the week.

To help you make the most of your elaborate outfit, Pique has found some of the spookiest ways to celebrate.

Haunted Warehouse Party

Hanger1 Warehouse, Function Junction
Monday, Oct. 29, 7 p.m.

Whistler DJ duo Case of the Mondays are taking over a warehouse in Function Junction, transforming it a Halloween party and tossing a pumpkin smash into the mix.

They promise the "biggest sound and visual production system in Whistler" with the "spookiest DJs from Whistler through to Vancouver." That will include the boys themselves, alongside Dunks from The Funk Hunters, Tsen, Civillian and Pauly Deep.

On top of that, there will be a pre-party and pumpkin carving at the nearby Whistler Brewing Company with DJ Ty Metal from 8 to 10 p.m.

Tickets are $30. Get them at tinyurl.com/y8hmugr3.

Murder Mystery and Beer Pairing Dinner

Brickworks Public House
Monday, Oct. 29, 6:30 p.m.

If you're looking for a different way to drink in a costume this Halloween, consider snagging tickets to the Quentin Tarantino Murder Mystery and Beer Pairing Dinner.

The event will feature local actors and actresses playing Tarantino characters while diners enjoy a five-course meal and the mystery unravels. Costumes, of course, are encouraged.

Tickets are $75 available at tinyurl.com/ycrxtkkf.

Raveyard—The Halloween Party

Garfinkel's
Wednesday, Oct. 31, 9 p.m.

Have you ever ventured into a "rave cave?"

It sounds pretty spooky, especially when it vows to "be the one to take you to your grave."

If you dare, dress to impress and head underground where you'll find DJ Nikky, Grayson Repp and a few other surprises.

Fire and Brimstone

Cinnamon Bear and Moe Joe's
Wednesday, Oct. 31, 7 p.m.

Two bars are partnering up for this "fire and brimstone" party. Start the night out with a drink at Cinnamon Bear before "Hell Tour Guides" lead the death march underground to Moe Joe's. There will be a prize for best male and female costumes while a long list of DJs "sling the silliest Halloween beats."

Halloween Party

Buffalo Bills
Friday, Oct. 26, 7 p.m.

Forget a haunted house; Buffalo Bills is attracting ghosts and ghouls to their haunted hallway this year.

On top of the creepy corridor, partygoers can expect prizes for best dressed and a spooked-up dance floor as well.

prE-hALLOWEENER

THE VELVET UNDERGROUND
SATURDAY, Oct. 27, 5-10 P.M.

Don't miss this Function Junction bash at Whistler's newest vintage shop/cafe/music venue.

Local band Lazy Ghost are set to perform for a crowd that will surely follow the "dress up mandatory" rule.

Drinks, snacks and prizes will also be on hand.
