It's finally happening.

Canada's team is playing in an NBA final for the first time in its 24-season history.

Whether you're a die-hard Raps fan or just hopping on the basketball bandwagon, there's no doubt there will be plenty of excited Raptors supporters celebrating from coast to coast as the hometown underdogs face off against the Golden State Warriors for Game one tonight.

But if shelling out thousands for a flight to Toronto and tickets to the game wasn't in your monthly budget, Whistler's got you covered.

Tip-off is at 6 p.m., but we'd advise getting to your preferred watering hole early to snag the best view—and, if you're lucky, a few happy hour deals too.

Here are just a few of the many spots in Whistler where you can catch the game and cheer on your team today:

CINNAMON BEAR BAR & GRILLE

Head to the Hilton's CBBG for one of the best viewing parties in town—or just if you're a big fan of free hot dogs.

Cross your fingers and cheer loud enough to be heard at the Scotiabank Arena, because each time the Raptors score a three-pointer in the second quarter, the entire bar gets a round of hot dogs. Get there between 5 p.m. and game time to secure your spot and take advantage of happy hour drink specials.

AMSTERDAM PUB

Don't feel like sitting inside on what's sure to be a beautiful evening? The Dam might be the spot for you.

Their patio features the largest outdoor screen in town, and they make sure to crank up the sound so you won't miss a single shot.

BRANDY'S AT THE KEG

Grab a steak (or, if you'd prefer, the crispy fried cauliflower) and watch the big game at one of Whistler's original sports bar, where you'll get a clear view of the screen from virtually any seat in the room.

Happy hour here lasts until tip-off, including a variety of tasty apps and cheap drinks.

DUSTYS BAR & BBQ

Make your way over to Creekside if you're looking to take in the game and one of Whistler's best dead-season deals at the same time.

Grab a seat inside to keep your eye on the score, and purchase a beverage in order to gain access to 40 per cent off the entire menu, because heavily-discounted BBQ, basketball and beer is never a bad combo.

(If the Upper Village is more convenient for you, MERLIN'S is offering the same deal.)

ROLAND'S CREEKSIDE PUB

Across the highway and down the street, you'll be sure to be surrounded by other big sports fans in a laid-back atmosphere while you watch the Raptors own the court.

TAPLEY'S PUB

The atmosphere will most definitely be buzzing at one of Whistler's favourite locals' hangouts, complete with TVs and rowdy fans in every corner—you might even go so far as to say it's the most fun place to watch the game west of Jurassic Park.

THE CRYSTAL LOUNGE

Head underground for the game, stay for the live music afterwards. With 10 TVs, and sound turned all the way up for full commentary, naturally, the Crystal Lounge has Raps fans covered.

If you're in the mood to celebrate after—or dance away your sorrows, depending on the outcome—Joel and Rad is scheduled to hit the stage at 9 p.m.
