Whistler’s eighth annual Father/Daughter Dance will take place Sunday, April 22 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler, in the Macdonald Ballroom.

The event is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and ticket forms have been made available in take-home folders through Myrtle Phillip Elementary School.

More than 500 fathers and daughters aged four to 12 attended last years’ event, and proceeds from the dance support the Whistler Children’s Centre and the computer program at Myrtle Phillip. There will be a dinner, balloons, prizes, and, of course, music you can dance to.

If you wish to volunteer for to help out with the dance, please contact any of the following members of the Father/Daughter Dance Committee: Dr. James Mackenzie, Patrick McCurdy, Bob Cameron, Scott Carrell, Lori Laidlaw, Dale Schweighardt, or Marian T. Hardy.
