The Rookies Workshop #1 on May 13, 9 a.m. to noon, focuses on ground strokes, rallying and services.

Rookies Workshop #2 on June 3 reviews ground strokes and covers net play and strategy for new or rusty players.

The Players Workshop, May 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. is for intermediate players 3.0 to 4.0.

All clinics are $45, and instructed by Marjorie Blackwood and Peter Schelling. Blackwood is a former top-50 pro, a three-time Canadian Champion and as of 1998, a member of the Canadian Tennis Hall of Fame. Schelling is a National Masters Doubles Champion and a level 3 coach.

There is also a course for advanced players only, on May 10 and 31, from 5 to 7 p.m., covering drills, singles play and doubles play. The cost is $30 for each.
