For the second year in a row, Whistler Mountain Ski Club racer Tyler Duncan was selected by his teammates as the Sportsman of the Year for his positive attitude.

His teammates weren’t the only people to notice. This year he also received the Cary Mullen Award, a trophy that is given to the most sportsmanlike athlete in the FIS B.C. division.

"For Tyler, this appointment is a great honour, but he seems to come by it naturally, like it’s instinct" says FIS head coach Jordan Williams. "I’ve worked with him quite often and I will be coaching him again next year by the looks of it."
