The Whistler Museum and Archives is kicking of its new website on the life and times of Myrtle Philip with a fundraiser at Dubh Linn Gate June 21. The educational website — Whistler Pioneer Photographs from the Myrtle Philip Collection — will be available for first viewing at the event.

The site is an interactive one, derived from over 2,000 vintage photographs and information compiled about Myrtle Philip, Rainbow Lodge, early summer and winter recreation and daily pioneer life in this rugged valley.

A $20 ticket includes a buffet dinner, pint of beer, entertainment from John Reynolds and one entry into their door draw. Advance tickets are available at the Whistler Museum.
