Tourism Whistler's strategic alliance and business partnership with Brewster Transportation is about to move to a new level.
For more than a decade, Tourism Whistler has partnered with Brewster in marketing and selling Whistler as a summer destination to the independent fly/drive and group markets.
Beginning in May 2002, Brewster's motorcoach packages will also include Whistler, by way of a new route up the Sea to Sky Highway from Vancouver, stopping in Whistler and continuing through B.C.'s interior and on to Banff/Lake Louise. As well, Whistler is included in the reverse itinerary starting in the Canadian Rockies and finishing on the West Coast.
Formerly, Brewster's motorcoach packages into the Rockies travelled the TransCanada highway or the Coquihalla Highway, by-passing Whistler.
Tourism Whistler is pleased that Brewster's new route will incorporate a stopover in Whistler, and offer Brewster passengers the opportunity to experience the tremendous variety of summer activities.
Brewster markets its tours internationally, and is one of the largest tour operators to offer a Canadian Rockies tour program. Adding Whistler to the Brewster itinerary will raise the awareness of Whistler as a summer destination.
