WHAT: Whistler-Blackcomb Harvest Huckfest

WHERE: Whistler Mountain

WHEN: Oct. 5 to 7

Events include a cruiser bike ride on Friday at 7 p.m.; "Ride with the Stars" on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring some of the world?s top cross country, downhill and freeride mountain bikers; the movie premier of Disorder 2: Fat Tire Fury at the Rainbow Theatre at 5:30 on Saturday; a big air demo at the base of Whistler from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday; and the WORCA Max Vert Enduro on Sunday morning from 9 a.m. until noon, where mountain bikers see how many laps of the bike park they can make in three hours.

The bike park closes for the season at 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Monday.

WHERE: Chateau Whistler Golf Club

WHERE: Meet at Meadow Park Sports Centre

WHEN: Every Wednesday at 6 p.m.

A group run and training club for Whistler?s growing list of triathletes, for all ages and abilities.

WHAT: Fall Ultimate drop-in

WHERE: Spruce Grove

WHEN: Wednesdays, from 6 to 9 p.m.

There will be a $5 drop-in fee to cover the costs of using the fields, which will be lighted when the sun goes down.

WHAT: Swim Club Fall Session

WHERE: Meadow Park

WHEN: Already underway.

The club will be coaching fall, winter, and spring programs two or three times a week for children and adults, both competitive and recreational, who want to improve their strokes and cardiovascular fitness.
