Royal stuff you should know Here's some trivia to make your Royal Day. o You can call him Charles, or Prince Charles, but on formal whoop-ups, he's called His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. He gets his mum's job if and when she decides to collect her old age pension. o Prince Charles’ street name is Charles Philip Arthur George Windsor. o As well, Prince Charles is Duke of Cornwall (a title that dates back 650 years to 1337), and has Scottish royal titles of Duke of Rothesay; Earl of Carrick; Baron Renfrew, Lord of the Isles; and Prince and Great Steward of Scotland. o He has an honours BA in archaeology, anthropology and history from the University of Cambridge. o He has had a busy military life and holds the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy and Group Captain in the Royal Air Force. o Prince Charles is said to be fairly keen on Canada and has been here loads. Recent visits include opening Expo 86 in Vancouver (1986), touring Sudbury, Toronto, Kingston and Ottawa (1991) and an extensive tour of New Brunswick, Southern Ontario and Manitoba (1996).
