The North Vancouver Outdoor School will be holding its annual open house on Sunday, May 31, between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. This free family event is an opportunity to explore a school that runs unique environmental and cultural programs in the spectacular, park-like Paradise Valley. Come find out what’s happening at the salmon hatchery, farm and Coast Salish Bighouse. There will be paper making, canoeing, archery and face painting. Other events include a silent auction, craft fair and salmon fry release. The Outdoor School is 20 minutes north of Squamish in Paradise Valley.
