Community Futures calendar The non-profit community economic development organization Community Futures has released dates and times for its next three workshops. The workshops are designed to give people who own or are starting their own business a boost. All lectures are free. A workshop on Customer Service will take place on Nov. 2 at the Best Western in Squamish, Nov. 3 at the Whistler Conference Centre and Nov. 4 at the Pemberton Community Centre. All course start at 7 p.m. and last until 10 p.m. Marketing on a Shoe String takes place in Squamish at the Howe Sound Inn on Dec. 7, Whistler’s conference centre on Dec. 8 and Pemberton’s community centre on Dec. 9. Times are the same as the previous month. Business Internet for Beginners will take place in Squamish on Jan. 11 at the Brackendale Secondary School, on Jan. 12 at the Whistler Secondary School and on Jan. 13 at the Pemberton Secondary School. Again times are between 7 and 10 p.m.
