A 28-year-old man was attacked Tuesday morning and is in serious condition at a Vancouver hospital, while RCMP search for four Caucasian suspects, three males and one female. Cst. Warren Tomalty of the Whistler RCMP, said the suspects are believed to be in their mid-twenties. The assault occurred between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m. in a secluded area, leaving the man who had earlier met the four at a Whistler nightclub, with serious injuries. The man, who was not a resident of Whistler, had left the club and was invited to get into their car. After a minor collision, the car was driven to a remote area, there the 28 year old was taken out of the car and beaten. The assailants then robbed him, stealing several items. After the attack the perpetrators drove away from the scene in a blue-green 1997, four-door Toyota Corolla. The victim then walked to a nearby residence and the RCMP were called. Whistler RCMP are still investigating the incident and searching for the car, which they believe could be a rental. The car obtained damage to the rear passenger door, a smashed passenger window, and one hubcap is missing. RCMP are asking anybody with information on the incident to come forward.
