Volly call for First Night The Mountain Communities Health Alternatives group (MCHA) is on the look-out for people willing to volunteer for First Night, Whistler’s alcohol-free New Year’s Eve celebration.

Volly call for First Night The Mountain Communities Health Alternatives group (MCHA) is on the look-out for people willing to volunteer for First Night, Whistler’s alcohol-free New Year’s Eve celebration. MCHA will be needing approximately eight ticket sellers to help see in 1999. The First Night Party raises funds for the MCHA, the community group that brought you the Whistler Survival Guide and various other outreach programs. The village will be closed off and only ticket holders are allowed in to see the family-friendly entertainment. Volunteers can arrange to split their shifts so that there are two periods spend on the gate, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from 9 p.m. to midnight. If you are interested in lending a helping hand or need further information call Belinda Keech at 938-3181.
