Whistler’s Britt Janyk, who at 21 is only in her first full season with the Canadian Alpine Ski Team, came with 0.03 seconds of the podium in a Europa Cup giant slalom at Arosa, Switzerland.
She was the only North American to crack the top ten, although Canadian Anna Prchal managed to make the finals and finish 17 th .
Janyk clocked a two-run time of two minute 46.70 seconds, 1.5 seconds back of gold medal winner Fraenzi Aufdenblatten of Switzerland.
