Morgan Titus ‘Road Runner’ of 2001

Whistler’s Morgan Titus received the Junior Male Road Runner of the Year award from B.C. Athletics on Jan. 19 at a banquet in Delta.

Whistler’s Morgan Titus received the Junior Male Road Runner of the Year award from B.C. Athletics on Jan. 19 at a banquet in Delta.

He is ranked first in the province for the 10 kilometre race, and was first in his division at the Vancouver Sun Run last April 22.

Titus, who is a first year forestry student a the University of British Columbia, finished fifth at the Canadian Junior National Cross Country Champions in New Brunswick last fall, showing he can run off-road as well. His performance earned him a spot in the world cross country championships in Ireland this March.
