Two Whistler Mountain Ski Club alumni are on their way to Italy in March to represent Canada at the World Junior Championships. Scott Hume and Manuel Osborne-Paradis, both members of the B.C. Ski Team, were the only Canadians who are not currently members of the national development team to be selected to the team.

The championships, which will be held in Tarvisio, Sella Nevea and Ravascletto from Feb. 24 to March 3, include downhill, slalom, giant slalom and super G events.

Other Whistler skiers on the national development team will likely take part, including Michael Janyk and Christina Risler.
