A memorial for Elwyn Rowlands and Kim Wolfe, the Whistler couple who died in a car accident roughly two weeks ago, will be held this Sunday May 5 at 4 p.m. at Millennium Place.

The day also marks Wolfe's birthday.

The family is encouraging friends and relatives to bring photos taken by Rowlands, who was well-known in Whistler for his photography, so that they can be displayed.

Friends will be able to share a brief thought or a personal story.

There will also be a gathering at Buffalo Bill's at 6 p.m. following the memorial celebration. The family would like to add that there will be no celebrations or parties at the couple's home.

Rowlands and Wolfe left behind three children, two who were seriously injured in the same accident on the Sea-to-Sky Highway.

A trust fund for the children, who are staying with relatives, is being set up. Details can be found at www.jcrconsulting.com.
