The second annual Rotary Riverside Greens Putting Classic has been scheduled for Aug. 24, running from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Hosted by the Whistler Rotary Club and the Whistler Millennium Rotary Club, the putting tournament at the Riverside Greens Putting Course is a fundraiser for local groups.

Last year the tournament raised approximately $5,000 for the new library and museum project. This year the proceeds will be divided between the Adaptive Ski Program, WAG and the Whistler Library/Museum & Archives Capital Campaign.

To enter, you’ll need a team of four with at least one member of the opposite sex on each team. There will be four popgun starts, at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. There will be awards for teams and individuals, as well as a hole-in-one contest, with all prizes donated by the Whistler business community. Whistler-Blackcomb in the main tournament sponsor.

The cost is $100 per team, including a barbecue meal.

To register, contact Barry Maskell at 604-938-4787 or info@peaktogreen.com.
