The Whistler Slo-pitch League wrapped up for the season Saturday, Sept. 21, with the presentation of awards for the top teams in regular season and the playoffs in the five local competitive divisions.

The Whistler Slo-pitch League wrapped up for the season Saturday, Sept. 21, with the presentation of awards for the top teams in regular season and the playoffs in the five local competitive divisions.

A Division – Sea to Sky Security won both the league and the playoffs.

B Division – Wildwood Café won the league; Citta Cats won the playoffs.

C Division – Team of Love won the league, Extreme Heat won the playoffs.

D Division – Mountainsiders won the league; Whistler Homegrown won the playoffs.

E Division – Mongolie Grilldawgz won the league; Ichiros won the playoffs.

In addition, Berto Corso received the Comissioner Award for his outstanding contributions to Whistler Slo-Pitch. Corso led a travelling team to the nationals in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and the provincials in Vernon this year.
