Allen Stager will not be running for chief of the Mount Currie band but he will run for council according to the most recent information released.
Business development officer Lyle Leo has also withdrawn his nomination for Chief.
Nominated for chief are Leonard Andrew, Kathy Wallace, Theresa Peters, Maureen Leo and Rosemary Dan.
Leo and Dan area also nominated for council.
An all candidates meeting will be held Feb. 17 at the gymnasium in Mount Currie starting at 6 p.m.,
Thirty-six of 57 people nominated for council have accepted the challenge.
The election will held March 3.
