Whistler and Pemberton students are being encouraged to apply for the North Shore Credit Union’s 2003-scholarship program.
There are three $1,500 scholarships and NSCU will also be awarding two $500 scholarships – one to a student attending Capilano College and the other to a student attending BCIT.
To qualify, applicants must demonstrate outstanding community and school participation, excellent academic achievement and strong leadership skills. Selected students must be enthusiastically inspired to pursue higher education in a specific field at any recognized post-secondary institution.
All NSCU members, their children, grandchildren or dependants are welcome to apply. Application deadline is April 11, 2003.
