RCMP investigate B&E
The Whistler RMCP are investigating a break and enter in Comor Sports, located at 4338 Main Street, in the early morning of March 3.
According to the police, thieves forced an outer entry with a metal door, and left with approximately 20 Salomon snowboards of various models and lengths, as well as a rack of clothing that include approximately 15 Bonfire Optic T20 jackets and five pairs of Bonfire dark grey/black snowboard pants.
The police were informed of the theft at approximately 5:17 a.m., and are investigating the incident.

High schooler charged with counterfeiting
On March 2, the RCMP arrested a 15-year-old male Whistler resident for allegedly selling counterfeit $10 bills between Feb. 3 and Feb. 27.
He has since been released, and is awaiting his first appearance in court.
School buses getting buzzed
School buses are bright yellow and have flashing lights and stop signs for a reason – a reason that seems to have been lost on a growing number of Whistler drivers.
School bus drivers have complained to the RCMP that there has been an increase in the number of motorists passing school busses when the lights are on and the bus is stopped.
Most of the incidents occur between 2:50 and 2:55 p.m. in the Alpine area at 19 Mile Creek.
The Whistler RCMP are warning motorists that it is important for motorists to stop when a school bus has stopped and the lights are on – the fine for failing to stop or passing a school bus is $144 under Section 149 of the Motor Vehicle Act.
