The third and final Sprite Park Rider Series snowcross of the season took place on March 29, with one of the best turnouts of skiers and snowboarders this year. In fact, for the second event in a row, skiers outnumbered snowboarders.
At the awards ceremony, Tyler Allison won the draw for the Atomic Supercross skis, and Terry Mulderrig, a Whistler-Blackcomb instructor who brought his pod with him, won the free snowboard.
The Sprite Series is taking a short break, but will be back in May for back-to-back halfpipe and slopestyle events on Whistler, May 10 and 11. You can register at any Whistler-Blackcomb Ski School Sales location, or by calling 1-800-766-0449.
