SUMMERTIME STREET ENTERTAINMENT

As the hot days of summer turn into the cooler days of autumn, we sadly must say goodbye to summertime street performers. This weekend is the last chance to catch some of the coolest street entertainment this side of Kalamazoo. Make sure to stroll through the Village Common, Town Plaza, Village Square, Mountain Square, and the Marketplace and check out the Colossal Canadian Couple. At nine feet tall and five feet wide their silly antics make them a crowd favourite wherever they go. Also appearing is juggler/performer extraordinaire Mike Battie, and Rainbow the Clown, who will delight kids of all ages with magic, comedy, balloons and good old clowning around. See www.mywhistler.com for a full schedule of appearances. And don’t forget the Farmers Market in the Upper Village every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
