When Nils Ling came by this way in 2001 with his one-man play The Truth about Daughters , overflow crowds were forced into the hallway on extra chairs. This time around, Ling has a new play about the search for true love and a new venue in the MY Place theatre.

The actor, syndicated writer and raconteur plays a political columnist who is forced to step outside his element and write a series on relationships. Fans can expect the usual humorous, he said-she-said Ling-isms on the differences between men and women, but this time Ling also shows his sensitive side by including a series of true love stories.

"When I heard them, or had them told to me, they resonated with me. They were, I thought, perfect examples of what we should be looking for in this life," said Ling.

Catch The Truth about Love and/or Marriage tonight in the MY Place upstairs theatre. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets $15-$18 at the box office.
