The name pretty much says it all: Charles Ross is but one man, but that fact doesn't deter him from re-enacting the entire first three Star Wars movies, onstage, in about one hour.

You heard right. Three movies. One hour. He starts with "long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away," and he ends with the destruction of the Death Star. Along the way he promises to blow more than a few minds with the manic pace required to fit in all the well-known plot twists and turns and the best snippets of the iconic dialogue.

He manages to portray the full range of the beloved cast, from diminutive Jedi Master Yoda to feisty Princess Leia to giant space slug dictator Jabba the Hut. And he'll do it without sacrificing the underlying message of coming of age and discovering your true potential and place in the universe.

You don't have to be Obi Wan Kenobi to see that the force is strong in Charles Ross.

The show tours the Sea to Sky corridor this weekend, playing in Squamish tonight at 8 p.m. at the Eagle Eye Theatre, and at MY Place in Whistler on Saturday evening. Tickets range from $15 to $20. For more information call 604-898-9411 in Squamish and 604-935-8410 in Whistler.
