Spud Valley Loppet on Sunday

The last competitive event on the cross-country calendar for the area this winter is the 22 nd annual Spud Valley Loppet, which takes place this Sunday, March 7. After that everybody’s racing the spring melt.

The last competitive event on the cross-country calendar for the area this winter is the 22 nd annual Spud Valley Loppet, which takes place this Sunday, March 7. After that everybody’s racing the spring melt.

The Spud Valley Loppet starts at the Outward Bound Centre in the Pemberton Meadows and finishing at the Lillooet Forest Road Bridge, 12 km away. The race is flat, fast and includes some incredible scenery.

The event is open to all ages and abilities, and day of race registration starts at 9 a.m. The race starts at 10 a.m.

To speed things up on Sunday you can also pick up registration forms at the library and the Swiss Deli.
