What: The Road to Oz

Where: Myrtle Philip Community Centre

When: Saturday, June 5

Still Dancing are, well, still dancing.

The recreational dance group is staging its sixth annual showcase of tap, jazz and ballet this Saturday at Myrtle Philip Community Centre.

More than 120 dancers from Whistler and Squamish will be involved in the Wizard of Oz-themed performance numbers. Most dancers are of elementary school age, however the troupe has a strong "young-at-heart" adult contingency as well.

The troupe is staging two shows this Saturday, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 for kids under 16 years old, $10 for adults, and are available in advance from Katmandu Cycle in Whistler and Club Flex in Squamish, as well as at the door.

The Rotary Clubs of Whistler and Squamish are sponsoring the event this year, and will redirect admission proceeds back into their respective communities.
