In the Ottawa Marathon last week she finished 37 th overall, first in the womens 25 to 29 age group, and fifth out of almost 1,400 women with a time of two hours, 48 minutes and five seconds. It was a personal best for the athlete almost six minutes faster than her previous best time.
"The time wasnt as good as I had hoped but my progression is going in leaps and bounds," said Rody.
Rody was also proud of being third among Canadian women.
