‘Something for everyone’ at Saturday book sale

Want some books to go with that lazy day at the beach?

Then drop by the Whistler Public Library’s annual used book sale, taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. outside the IGA in Marketplace.

Proceeds from the sale will go to the Whistler Public Library to purchase new materials for its collection.

"People have been incredibly generous with their donations," commented Jane Reid, a volunteer with the library.

"Every time we have a sale we’re not sure if we’re going to get enough books," Reid continued, "but we always end up with more than enough."

From kids books to cook books, Reid is sure there’s something for everyone.

Book sales will be by donation.
