Commuters up to the Challenge

As part of the annual Whistler Commuter Challenge, Slope Side Supply, Pique Newsmagazine and other sponsors hosted the second annual Coffee Bike Relay around Function Junction on Thursday, Sept. 30.

The first rider went to the Re-Use-It Centre to pick out a neck warmer, the second went to Whistler Cooks to find, deep fry and eat a whole potato, the third went to Millar Creek Café to eat four packages of crackers, and the last rider raced to the finish line.

Slope Side Supply finished first this year, winning a round of golf at the Pemberton Valley Golf Club, courtesy of Custom Fit Marketing.

Cascade Environmental was second, winning a private lesson with Extremely Canadian.

Brent Harley and Associates were third, winning WAVE key chains.
