The Path opening delayed

Local art lovers hoping to experience Whistler’s newest gallery this weekend will have to hold tight for a few more days.

Britt German, owner and proprietor of the Path Gallery, reported she is delaying the opening approximately one more week to complete renovations.

The gallery and framing studio will feature fine West Coast native art works and jewelry and will occupy the space formerly held by Jody’s Internet Cafe and the Freestyle Framing and Art Gallery in the Tyndall Stone Lodge on Main Street.

German said the gallery will host a grand opening reception in February.
