What: HIMALAYAN VISIONS & TIBETAN VOICES A multi-media show will take you on a journey through Tibet with award winning photographer Brian Harris. Special guest Victor Chan, a close confidant of the Dalai Lama will also present. Tickets are $15 through Ticketmaster or at the door.

What: TELLURIDE MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL Two different sets of shows made up of short and long films on mountain adventure and culture are coming to Whistler in the Telluride Mountain Film Festival. Tickets are $15 for one night or $25 for both shows. All proceeds go to local environmental projects through the Whistler-Blackcomb Foundation Environmental Fund. Call 604-935-8410 for tickets.

What: LUNA – Melting Point Chill out at the LUNA pool party. This Late and Unique Nighttime Alterantives event is a pool party not to be missed with DJ tunes, relaxing times in the sauna and hot tub and yummy frozen treats. Free bus from W-B Glacier staff housing.

What: OUT OF BOUNDS: TALES FROM THE BACKCOUNTRY 15 professional photographers and six amateurs, who have captured B.C.’s backcountry through their lens, will showcase their work in Out of Bounds. Everyone is invited to the informal reception which kicks off the month-long exhibit at Millennium Place and other satellite venues. Come out and help select the People’s Choice photographer.
