The DJ’s sister Jessica Beach will perform live vocals over his set of downtempo nu-jazz beats.
Calgary-based Jessica was the 2004 winner of a $100,000 recording contract through Calgary urban radio station VIBE 98.5’s Unsigned Vibe contest, and is currently making her debut CD in Vancouver.
In addition to the set with her brother on Friday evening (Feb. 11), Jessica will perform with one of her recording musicians on guitar while she plays keyboards.
