What: Car Wash for a cause Give your car a mini facelift at the Whistler Secondary School Dry Grad Fundraiser. Pull into the parking lot at Home Hardware.

What: giant used book sale Stock up on books and magazines for your summer reading. All proceeds go to Spring Creek and Whistler Secondary school libraries.

What: Firefighter/RCMP Car wash The Whistler RCMP and Whistler Fire and Rescue are hosting a car wash to raise money to send kids with cancer to Camp Goodtimes this summer. All proceeds go to help the kids and the car wash is by donation.

What: bed races/pajama Party Help raise money for Camp Squamish at the 24 Hour Relay. Events include the Whistler Community Bed Races through the village from 3-6 p.m. followed by a Pajama Party at the GLC with live bands and a "Jail n Bail" featuring some notorious community members behind bars.

What: reel alternatives ’Born Into Brothels’, the documentary about the children of Calcutta’s red-light district, is the next in the Reel Alternatives Series. There are two screenings of this Oscar winner. Tickets are $9 and are available in advance at Nesters and at Village 8 on the day of the screening.
