The Whistler Housing Authority (WHA) announced this week that Marla Zucht will take over as general manager Sept. 6, following the departure of current GM Tim Wake.
Zucht has been the housing administrator for the WHA since 2001. Prior to joining the WHA, Zucht obtained a Masters Degree in Community Planning and Environmental Studies from York University and has a wide experience in housing issues.
Candidates are being sought to fill the position of housing administrator.
Nick Davies, Chair of the WHA Board of Directors said, "With at least four significant employee housing projects in Whistler’s immediate future, the board felt that Marla’s combination of skills and experience would provide the continuity the organization needs at this critical time. The board is confident that there are outstanding candidates in the community to fill the housing administrator job."
