The Whistler Off Road Cycling Association is hosting its annual general meeting tonight, Oct. 13 at Spruce Grove Field House, starting at 7 p.m. The directors will give their reports for the past year and an election will determine the directors for 2005-06.
In addition, photographer Joern Rohde will be giving a slideshow of the pictures he’s taken at numerous Loonie Races and events throughout the season. There will also be an opportunity to discuss plans for next season, as well as upcoming events like the WORCA all-candidates meeting.
All members are encouraged to attend, and food and refreshments will be provided.
Correction
In last week’s story about the WORCA annual general meeting tonight, Oct. 13, we incorrectly identified the freeride director as Lena Horn. In fact the director is Lena Martin who has nothing against Lena Horn, the jazz musician.
