WORCA hosting Halloween ride

The Whistler Off-Road Cycling Association is hosting its inaugural Halloween Haunted Forest ride on Thursday, Oct. 27. Meet at the Lost Lake warming hut at 6 p.m., and the ride gets underway at 6:30 p.m.

This is a ride, not a race, and the winners will be the participants with the best costumes – just make sure you can see. It’s also a potluck, so bring enough food for yourself and a few other people. WORCA will be providing the refreshments.

The ride will not be technical but the course will be dark and possibly wet and cold as well, so bring good lights and headlamps, dress for the weather, and have something warm to wear afterward.
