Sex and the village February 2

What: CHINESE NEW YEAr It’s the Year of the Dog. Celebrate Chinese New Year Whistler-style!

When: January 27-February 5

What: SEX AND THE VILLAGE An evening of sex ed just before Valentine’s Day. The workshop, ‘Female Pleasure’ is for women only. The workshop, ‘Hot Sex for Women and the People that Love Them’ is for both men and women. There will be massage, an online chat with a SAFE sex nurse, food, lingerie modelling, music and toys. Tickets are $10/$8.

What: AMERICAN FRIENDS OF WHISTLER All are welcome to join the American Friends of Whistler in their annual ski/board with a pro day. Tickets for this fundraising event are $25.

What: OUT OF BOUNDS: TALES FROM THE BACKCOUNTRY This photo exhibition will be showcased throughout the month featuring scenes of skiing and snowboarding in B.C.’s backcountry. Check out the talent from some of the region’s pro photographers as well as the work of some emerging amateurs. The opening party is on Saturday February 4 from 7 to 10 p.m. Meet the photographers, enjoy a glass of wine.

What: SEA TO SKY HOCKEY CHALLENGE They’re back! This time the Hanson Brothers are bringing the Trailer Park Boys along with a full roster of NHL stars and celebrity players. All proceeds support Canada’s high performance athletes.

What: TELLURIDE MOUNTAINFILM ON TOUR Two nights and 15 films. There’s something for everyone here whether it’s a wild adventure, a battle for environmental justice or a snapshot film about another culture. Tickets are $15/night or $25 for both nights. Call 604-935-8410.
