Whistler gymnasts recognized at year-end show

Circus theme highlights show

The stands and sidelines were packed at Whistler Secondary School on Sunday afternoon as the Whistler Gymnastics Club hosted its annual year-end show.

This year’s theme was circus, and all of the gymnasts and coaches had their faces painted to go with the themes of their individual and group performances. Some of the highlights of the day were the individual routines by members of the provincial competitive team, a high-flying performance by the boy’s programs, the spirited performances by the younger kids, and the end of show tumbling demonstration.

In addition to the show, the coaches presented awards to the gymnasts in different groups.
