Two killed on Whistler Mountain

A snowmobile accident on Whistler Mountain Monday evening claimed the lives of two Intrawest employees. An RCMP release states that the two 23-year-old males were pronounced dead at the scene.

A snowmobile accident on Whistler Mountain Monday evening claimed the lives of two Intrawest employees.

An RCMP release states that the two 23-year-old males were pronounced dead at the scene. Names are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The accident occurred at approximately 7:05 p.m. Monday, June 5. Whistler Mountain ended its winter operations on Sunday, June 4.

The RCMP, B.C. Coroner Service and Worker Compensation Safety Board are investigating the accident.
